We are starting our Huntsville City, Madison County & Madison City Schools season preview with our area middle and high school coaches. We will be getting the inside scoop from the head coaches on what to expect and look forward to this upcoming season. We also added some fun questions to see what kids keep the coaches on their toes.
Coach Marshall Toney - Meridianville Middle School
Ricky: What are your goals for this season?
Coach Toney: For all my players to be better than they were when they started(on and off the court) And reach our potential as a TEAM. If a county championship is the result of that …we will take it.
Ricky: Can you tell a difference in your players from last to this year?
Coach Toney: Yes, the boys have a better understanding of the game.. improved individually as well as a team. Definitely more vocal.
Ricky: Are there any 7th grade players that you expect to have a breakout season?
Coach Toney: Jayden Hasberry, Christian Allen, Kareem Thomas, Cason Bradley

Coach Toney: 11-10

Coach Toney: Kydn Harris, Rodney Edwards, Caiden Sedlacek

Coach Toney: 7th grade Buckhorn & McNair. 8th grade Liberty & McNair

Coach Toney: Liberty - Jayden Richie. McNair- Cortez Hudson. Monrovia - Blake Bell

Coach Toney: All of Them 🤣
